Officating Backcourt 3 Simple Reminders

While making a throw-in near the 28' mark in Team A's frontcourt, A1 passes the ball to A2 in the frontcourt near the division line. A2 muffs the ball and the ball bounces directly into the backcourt, where A2 retrieves it.

When it comes to officiating backcourt, remember that all 3 of the following have to be TRUE!

1. TEAM CONTROL You must have Team Control ON THE FLOOR.

2. LAST TO TOUCH Team A has to be the last to touch the ball in the front court

3. FIRST TO TOUCH Team A has to be the first to touch the ball in the back court.
